The Daughters of India signature Kyra design in bright, yet soft, tones of Tangerine. This everyday mini dress features romantic billowing sleeves and optional front tie detailing with a full bodied skirt free of underlining, making it one of our most comfortable styles due to the heavenly-soft lightness of the material. Our signature floral pattern feels uplifting and vibrant on this maternity and breast feeding friendly design. A classic mini dress you will want in every colour!

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

I just love it

I have a few DoI dresses now, and I love that I can have a simple, ethical dress in a range of colours. The tangerine is a soft orange. I wasn’t too sure how orange it would be, and admittedly, a little hesitant to purchase. However, the colour has exceeded expectations and it’s now a firm favourite. As advised in other reviews, neutral underwear is recommended unless you don’t mind a hint of inner punk showing through. The bodice is somewhat lined but the skirt is not. I’m an Aussie 12-14 (leaning into the 14) and found the xl to be a great fit.

Great for at Home

I live the dress and the fit is so flattering due to the cut. But the dress is completely seetrough, so if you want to wear it out i suggest to wear a underskirt with it.

We wanted to leave the flexibility of the garment up to the wearer ~ many of our customers love the light, free feeling our dresses and choose to wear nude underwear whilst, others may prefer to wear a slip.We find it is truely personal preference!
